Hoon is my middle name. In many circles, it’s how people know me. In Korean, it’s a strong name, tied to stability and reliability. In Australia and New Zealand, Hoon is a slang term, which when used as a verb means to “mess around” or “travel” or “do something in a carefree manner”. Success in marketing strategies requires a balance of rigor and safety with the willingness to defy convention. In many ways, the two meanings of “Hoon” reflect this duality.
